Latvian Song Night – 30 December 2018 at 8:00PM
The Latvian Night of Song (December 30) is promising to be a truly special sing along night, because, Ļembasts, having played a significant role in the popularisation of Australian Latvian music, have reunited especially to perform this evening. This seasoned Latvian band whose songs have rocked Australia for many years, will to kick off the evening with classics such as Mašīna and Tu esi sarkans. After their performance, they will segue into the the sing along part of the evening ensuring everyone’s voices are well warmed up.
Enjoy some food, have a drink and join in the singing, and don’t worry, for easy participation the words for our many popular and sentimental favourites, will be projected onto a screen! Full price tickets are $30, concession $25, children attending for free; dinner is included in the cost of admission. The night will kick off at 8pm at the Talava: The Latvian Hall at 4 Clark Street on Sunday 30th December, so make sure not to miss out on the special chance to catch Ļembasts and have a good sing along!
