Far from the traditional sweet varieties often found in commercial markets, Mūrbūdu embraces an "Abnormal Cider" (Nenormāls Sidrs) philosophy.

Based in the Valka region, the cidery prioritises bold experimentation over strict tradition, utilising distinct Northern European apple varieties to create beverages that are often drier, more acidic, and structurally complex.
