Short Film Competition

The Dill

So, the deal with the dill is…

The 60th Australian Latvian Arts Festival invites all Latvians with an interest in film and/or dill to take part in the short film competition.

For your film to be a valid entry, you must use the word ‘dill’ at least once. This can be in English or in Latvian, and puns are strongly encouraged. You must also include imagery of dill. This can be real dill, a graphic, in the background or a key feature in your film. It’s up to you!

The film must be a maximum of 6 minutes long and the subject matter and genre (documentary, drama, animation etc.) are your choice.

The films will be judged by a jury chosen by the AL60KD committee. They will be shown during the festival.

The AL60KD committee invites all Latvians worldwide to participate in this competition! Feel free to share this information with your Latvian friends and community.
